#ExploreVA Facebook Live Event: VA Mental Health Care

VA Mental Health Care

Each of us can help a Veteran in crisis through simple acts of support. Whether you have an hour to grab coffee or just a minute to send a text message, small actions can make a big difference.

September is Suicide Prevention Month, making this a great time to connect with the resources you or someone you know may need during the #ExploreVA Facebook Live event. There are many services available, such as counseling at your local Vet Center. Learn about mental health care and treatment options from VA and Veterans of Foreign Wars’ (VFW) representatives.

Participating is easy.

Visit VFW’s Facebook page a few minutes before 1 p.m. EDT on September 13.

Refresh your page at 1 p.m. EDT to watch the live video discussion, it will begin on the hour.

Click on the video. Make sure it is unmuted by using the volume controls at the bottom of the video.

Type your questions into the comments below the video. You will need a Facebook account to submit questions. This is your opportunity to find answers and resources.
