March 20, 2019: At Risk & Dependent Person Registration

Did you know that our Department in conjunction with our Volunteers In Police Service (VIPS) offers a program to assist in locating missing at risk or dependent persons?

This program is called At-Risk Dependent Person Registration. This program allows you to register your loved one who may have a Special Need, suffers from Alzheimers, dementia or other disabilities that may cause them to wander away from home and become lost.

This is a FREE service provided by the Police Department.
Registering your loved one provides us with information critical to locating them should it become necessary.
Basic information and a current photograph are all that is needed to register your loved one.

We will be visiting the Oxnard Special Populations Fun Club to register participants that are interested. The Fun Club will be celebrating their regular social gathering if you would like to participate please bring a dish or dessert to share.
